ART fan Ethel Ashworth relived 80-years of memories when she visited Haworth Art Gallery.
The 90-year-old began visiting the Accrington gallery in 1921 when she was nine years old.
In 1968 she started working there as a cleaner for a while and ended up staying 14 years and working her way up to gallery assistant.
Mrs Ashworth brought press cuttings about the Haworth dating back from before the 1960s for her visit.
Yvonne Robins, the gallery's learning access officer, said: "It was fantastic. Malcolm picked her up from home and she had a lovely look round the gallery with him."
Mrs Ashworth will be visiting the gallery again in a couple of weeks to record her memories of several decades of visiting the gallery.
