ENVIRONMENTAL health officers had to be called out after young children found what was thought to be dangerous chemicals.
The children found four bottles of brown-coloured liquid on waste ground in Westleigh, they took the bottles home to Wordsworth Avenue where one mother became concerned and called the fire brigade.
After contacting environmental health specialists the liquid was deemed to be harmless and was poured down the drain by firefighters.
