POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a road Traffic accident on Sunday night in which two teenagers were injured when their motorcycle and a car collided.
At 8.30pm a 17-year-old local male youth and his 16-year-old pillion passenger were riding a Yamaha 600cc motorcycle along Wigan Road. Travelling in the opposite direction was a Peugeot 306 saloon driven by a 26-year-old Leigh man. They collided near the junction of Browning Street.
The youths were taken to Royal Bolton Hospital where they were treated for various fractures.
