A PROGRAMME of recitals on the famous Harrison Organ at Bedford Church will begin with Martin Brown.
Martin Brown has played the organ since he was 12, he gained a music degree at the University of Wales in Bangor in 1990, was a visiting music teacher at the Rydal Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay for five years and following numerous television and radio appearances is now the organist at Bangor Cathedral.
He will kick off a series of weekly performances at the church from 7.45pm on Tuesday, September 24.
This will be followed by David Houlder, sub-organist at Liverpool Cathedral, on Tuesday October 1, John Walton, organist at St Oswald's Catholic Church in Ashton-in-Makerfield, on Tuesday October 8 and Ronald Frost, organist at the Parish Church of St Ann in Manchester, on Tuesday October 15.
