For the second time in a row teachers, pupils, parents and governors at the Henrietta Street school are celebrating success following a recent Ofsted inspection which labelled it "a good school that provides value for money."
The report into the 357 pupil school concludes: "The overwhelming majority of pupils work hard and maintain high levels of concentration.
"They are keen to learn and take great pride in the presentation of their work."

They reported: "The overall impression of the school is one of attractiveness and vibrancy. Classrooms and other areas of the school are maintained in stimulating and interesting environments. The school is full of eye-catching displays of pupils' work, much of it of a very high standard."
Built in 1841, Leigh Juniors' is part of the town's successful Education Action Zone (EAZ). The report congratulated the EAZ for its impact on achievements.
