The brothers Taylor proved to be the thorn in the side of Bacup St Marys as all three played their part in a hard fought victory.
Midfield player-maker and goal-scorer Mick was the pick of the trio but Joseph worked tirelessly up front while Anthony's trickery undid the Saints defence down the right.
Assisting the brothers-in-harm was multiple man-of-the-match winner Paul Fishwick who gave a true captain's performance -- whether it was supporting his attackers or sitting in front of the back four.
And it was Fishwick who opened the scoring when he latched on to Mick Taylor's free kick and buried the ball past Lee Lord in the 25th minute.
By that stage Saints had hardly got a look in -- and if it wasn't for some fine defending from Adrian Ticehurst they would surely have conceded earlier.
Lee Nuttall, who gave a gritty and industrious display in the middle of Saints midfield, set up their best chance so far when he found Wally Bouthelja who flick the ball in to the path of Gary Thompson who flashed a shot just over the bar.
But Saints did finally draw level when veteran Dave Allen split the Padiham defence and Thompson raced clear to plant the ball beyond Wayne Harrison. Bouthelja then should have done better when he raced on to Lord's through ball but he fired over with the goal at his mercy.
Saints were flying but they were hit with the sucker punch right on the stroke of half time when Joseph Taylor and Daniel Lawton exchanges quick passes on the left with the latter whipping in a cross where Harrison dithered and David Vickery nipped in in front of the keeper to head home.
Padiham -- the much younger of the sides -- used their youth and exuberance to great effect after the break and Harrison made up for his error with three quick saves to deny Vickery, Joseph Taylor and Mick Taylor.
Anthony Taylor, who was getting more dangerous at the match went on, forced another good save out of Harrison the flashed a shot across the goal.
Bacup were forced on the back foot but should really have equalised but Lord scooped his shot over the bar from close range. And Bacup were made to suffer when Mick Taylor rammed the ball in to an unguarded net after Anthony Taylor's cross caused confusion in the box. Anthony Taylor then twice went close before Saints pulled one back with three minutes remaining when Bouthelja cooly converted from the spot after Thompson was brought down in the box.
But it was case of too little too late and it was Padiham who enjoyed their Taylor made victory.
