A NEW exhibition opens at Preston's Harris Museum and Art Gallery this month, showcasing the work of a local photojournalist.

In Focus is a history in pictures of Preston's Caribbean community, by Noel Coombes, to mark Black History Month 2002.

HARRIS Music Club is meeting on Wednesday, September 25, for a performance by a Piano Trio Melzi.

Mezzo-soprano Wendy Sharrock will sing musical delights by Handel, Schubert and Mendelssohn.
