BURNLEY boss Stan Ternent knows he has got some tough decisions to make ahead of tomorrow's match at Bradford but he said: "I always have.

"I have got an idea about my team but the one thing I know is we can play a lot better than we did against Millwall.

"That said we did create a lot of chances right through the game and if we can get back to everybody playing well we will be okay."

But once he has heard the final whistle at Valley Parade, one of the next results he will be listening out for is Swansea's home game with Torquay.

That is because his old pal and Clarets legend Brian Flynn is back in football almost exactly a year after he was sacked by Wrexham.

Flynn has swapped North Wales for South Wales after accepting the role of Director of Football at Swansea City, currently bottom of the Nationwide League.

"I am absolutely delighted for him and I will be wishing him well before the game," he said. "He's a big pal of mine and just lives around the corner. I am sure he will do well."

Flynn will be in charge with another ex-Claret Kevin Reeves, who worked with him at Wrexham, as the first team coach. The future for player manager Nick Cusack and his assistant Alan Curtis in unclear.

Ironically it was a 4-0 defeat by Wrexham that led the board to act and they are hoping that Flynn can revive their fortunes.

The Burnley star from the 70s and 80s has been a regular visitor the Gawthorpe training ground during his year long absence from the game and has also travelled to a number of away games with the team.

A leading figure in the League Managers' Association he is relishing the chance to be back in charge of a club on a daily basis.
