IT may be every football fan's dream to be in the spotlight, but not for Radcliffe resident Vicki Barry.
Mrs Barry (47) is fed up of light shining from Radcliffe Boro's ground into the bedroom of her Pilkington Road home.
"I first complained about three months ago and was told by the club that they would sort out the problem. But they didn't," she said.
"Since then the floodlights have been left on into the early hours on at least three more occasions.
"Last week the lights were left on all night. When I phoned to complain the next day I was disgusted by the arrogance."
Mrs Barry claimed that on previous occasions, a club spokesman responded by saying the club was there before her and sarcastically asking: 'Have you no curtains?'.
Club manager Kevin Glendon admitted the lights had been left on all night one night last week, but he said there was a reason for this.
"We had a new chap on who accidentally left one of the floodlights on. We went mad at him because it costs us money."
But Mr Glendon firmly disputed the claim that floodlights have been left on any later than 10.10pm.
"It's just not true," he said. "We don't know who she spoke to at the club."
He added: "People are only allowed to use the pitch until 10pm. We leave one of the floodlights on for a further ten minutes while they are vacating the pitch, but then it is switched off."
