TWO more drawn games this week leaves us in a rather perilous position close to the bottom of the table.
While, of course, its too soon to talk of relegation it's still worrying to see that we can't win at home.
And at the moment North End are playing like a team heading for the drop.
How many times, particularly against Watford, do we give the ball away unnecessarily, and why does the right full back have to take left wing corners leaving us wide open at the back on the right? The opposition gratefully collect the ball from the said corner and immediately attack down our right flank, where we are then a man short, and score as Watford did.
Our full back only just 'raced' back to the half-way line when the ball hit the net.
Surely if the fans can see these things then the management can, and we're certain that other clubs know that Preston corners are always taken by the two full backs.
For God's sake PNE get these stupid mistakes sorted out.
This daft idea of the full backs taking corners on opposite wings has gone on long enough.
The most frustrating thing about all this is that most of the players are good enough and can play at this level, but being forced to play different systems for each game, and this crazy idea of a rotation farce, is only helping to confuse everyone, players and fans alike!
See you at Derby on Saturday.
