A DELIVERY driver fought off an attacker who tried to mug him of his van keys.
Police said the two men exchanged blows in the street at about 5.20pm on Wednesday, before the would-be-robber fled. They are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The 24-year-old delivery driver was unharmed in the attack, which took place in Fair Hope Court, just off Harcourt Road, Blackburn, although he was said to be 'shaken up.'
Detective Constable Lyndsey Coy said: "There was a struggle between the two men which resulted in the offender running off. We are keen to speak to anybody who saw the incident to get in touch."
The offender was described as 6ft 2ins tall, medium build, wearing a fleece pullover and tracksuit bottoms.
