A FORMER policeman who took a bribe to be the "inside man" in one of Britain's biggest ever cash robberies has been ordered to pay back £50,000 by a judge.
Security van driver Graham Huckerby, aged 42, was hauled out of prison and back into court under legislation that makes criminals surrender the proceeds of their crimes.
The father-of-one was jailed for 14 years in April last year after corruptly accepting a bung to let gunmen hijack his Securicor vehicle and steal £6.6 million.
Using a secret stash of cash from the raid, which took place at a banking centre in Salford in 1995, he had a three-week trip to California and spent two nights in Las Vegas.
Huckerby, of Clifton Road, Prestwich, was among 12 people arrested for the robbery in August 1999.
He was told at Minshull Street Crown Court, Manchester, on Friday that he would face an extra 15 month stretch.
