FORMER Blackburn MP Barbara Castle has left nearly £1million to her relatives and the Labour Party.
The Labour Party nationally and Blackburn constituency Labour Party both get £2,000.
In addition she has left all her letters and papers, including love letters, to the Bodlein Library in Oxford.
Baroness Castle was made a life peer in 1990.
She left the main part of her property in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, Hell Corner Farm, to her favourite great-nephew Mark Hinton.
The other part of the property, Greys Barn goes to her great niece Katharine Payne.
Fifteen other nieces and nephews receive £2,000 each.
Her housekeeper of 11 years, Pauline Gilroy, receives £5,000 to look after Baroness Castle's beloved cocker spaniel, Bertie.
Much of Mrs Castle's wealth came from the publication of her diaries and her autobiography Fighting All The Way.
