PADIHAM extended their unbeaten start to the season with a convincing 3-1 away win over Daisy Hill in the NWCL Division Two to move seven points clear at the top of the table.
Goals in the 40th and 41st minutes of the first half by Darren Forrest and Ian Pilkington gave the Storks a 2-0 interval lead.
And when teenager Martyn Thompson added a third 10 minutes into the second half the game was over as a contest with Padiham easing down an introducing all three substitutes.
Eric Rostron did pull a goal back for the home side in the 57th minute and Daisy Hill had their goalkeeper Carl Johnson sent off for a handling offence outside the area midway through the second half to reduce the Storks opponents to 10 men.
