A MOTHER and her four children were "frightened stiff" when police searching for drugs burst the front door down in an early morning raid.
Blackburn magistrates heard that 33 year old Georgina Margaret Power immediately took the officers to the front room.
She handed over a cod liver oil container which held a small amount of cannabis.
Power, of Windermere Close, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis. She was given a conditional discharge for 12 months.
The magistrates made no order for costs, acknowledging that she already had had to pay for a new front door.
