A MAN caught driving while disqualified for the 45th time and in breach of four separate bans was given a chance to change his ways.
Blackburn magistrates agreed with defence solicitor Daniel King who invited them to take a more long-term view and try to help Robert Wayne Bausor rather than simply punishing him.
"Perhaps it is time to try and break the cycle of offending, prison, release, offending," said Mr King.
Bausor, 33, of Dowry Street, Accrington, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance and possession of cannabis.
He was given a two-year community rehabilitation order, banned for two years and fined a total of £125.
