POLICE are hunting a man who attacked a woman as she walked her dog in a park.
The assault happened at 9.30am on Friday (Sept 20) in Drinkwater Park, off Butterstile Lane in Prestwich. The 32-year-old was grabbed from behind but she managed to fend him off and he fled.
The woman, who was badly shaken by the attack, suffered bruising and grazing.
Detectives said the attacker was white, in his late 20s or early 30s, around 6ft tall, and had a local accent.
He was scruffily dressed, wearing beige tracksuit bottoms with a stripe down the side, with a dark blue or black hooded top with the hood pulled up.
