A MANAGER at Burnley's Asda store was "Tickled Pink" by the long arm of the law to raise money for charity.
General store manger Graham Price was "arrested" at the store in Princess Way by Community Beat Officer PC Shaun Jurianz.
Graham, 40, was unaware he was about to be arrested and was interrupted during a store meeting. The money raised from the prank will go to Breast Cancer Care's Tickled Pink campaign.
"The penny dropped after a while. The charge was failing to raise enough money for Tickled Pink, so I worked it out," he said.
Nevertheless, the police did their utmost to make the experience as realistic as possible.
Graham, of Radcliffe, added: "I didn't expect to spend so long in the cells."
He was taken to Padiham Police Station where he was held to ransom until the store managed to raise £500 for his release.
