POLICE are appealing for information after a pedestrian was injured in a fail-to-stop road accident, following the weekend bike show in Rawtenstall.
Police said pedestrian Michael Graham, 46, of Hyde, Manchester, was seen staggering in front of traffic in Bury Road for about 20 minutes before he was hit by a car, which then drove off.
The car involved in the accident, which happened at about 8pm, was described as small and dark, possibly an 'N' reg and possibly a VW Polo.
Mr Graham suffered a broken collar bone and was taken to Burnley General Hospital, where he was treated and released.
Police are appealing for the driver of the car and any witnesses to come forward.
