HORSE lovers from Longsight Stables in Langho saddled up to help the Magic Eye Appeal.
Riders between the ages of four and 50 took up the reins in August in aid of the appeal and raised more than £1,800.
The sponsored ride was organised by Susan Barker, who runs Longsight stables. She said: "I would like to say thankyou to everyone who supported the event, those who took part and their sponsors.
Sheila Shaw presented a platinum award to the riders of the stables and a special youth award to the young riders. The participants had excellent support from the owners of the Longsight Garden Centre, who sponsored the ride and provided refreshments en route. Their backing was recognised with the presentation of a silver certificate.
