A COMMUNITY garden has been spruced up -- thanks to the efforts of residents.
The garden, on the corner of Parker Street and Hermitage Street, Rishton, was created four years ago from a former pathway.
It was the brainchild of the Rishton Prospects panel, in conjunction with Hyndburn Council and Groundwork.
Colin Cooper, secretary of the group, said: "It was starting to look a bit tired so we have removed some of the weeds from the planters and generally tidied it up."
