PUPILS and teachers at local secondary schools are being challenged to use their heads in the dinner hall as well as the classroom, by recycling empty aluminium drink cans to win prizes, raise cash and help the environment.
This is part of a major campaign that is being run by soft drink brand Tizer and Alcan Aluminium Can Recycling. Schools across the UK are invited to join in The Tizer Can Challenge where they can win prizes for both schools and individuals. Also schools can boost their funds through cash for cans. If you would like more information about the Tizer Can Challenge call Alcan on 0800 262 465 or log onto www.cashforcans.co.uk
