A MAN was held in a headlock as two thugs stole his mobile phone in a weekend robbery.
The incident happened at the Heaton Park Metrolink station on Sunday (Sept 22) just seconds after the 25-year-old victim got off a tram.
The two robbers blocked his exit from the station. One of the thugs held the man in a headlock as his accomplice rifled his pockets and stole a £150 mobile phone and his wallet.
One of the thieves is described as aged 25, medium build, 5ft 11in, black hair and wearing track suit bottoms and a cap. The other was aged 16, medium build, 5ft 6in with short blond hair and wearing an Addidas top.
