AN organisation committed to bringing young people and business together is officially established in its new headquarters.
And to celebrate the move the Bolton & Bury Education and Business Partnership (EBP) presented £400 to a charity which arranges dream trips for terminally-ill children.
The money was raised from a variety of fund-raising activities.
The cheque was handed over by former Bury businessman Mr Stephen Crow, who is the chairman of the EBP board, and Mrs Charlotte Chadwick, EBP director. Receiving the cheque on behalf of Destination Florida was Mr Barry Hymanson.
The EBP's new base is in Chorley New Road, Bolton, and a launch event attracted representatives from local businesses and schools, funding partners, local authority representatives, board member companies and others.
The organisation says the new EBP House is an ideal base for the team to develop and pursue a variety of schemes which make a difference to local life.
