A FAMILY, from Preston, were involved in a bus crash while on holiday in Turkey.
Tina Rigg, 37, husband Andrew, 36, and children Graeme and Daniel, both 13, Shelby, nine, and niece Lisa Rigg-Swindlehurst, eight, were travelling to Marmaris when the coach, carrying 44 holiday-makers, was in a collision with another coach and a car. None of the Rigg family needed hospital treatment and continued to their hotel, Club Julian.
The crash happened at Dogusbelen, near Koycegiz, western Turkey at 12.30am British time on Wednesday morning.
Five Turkish nationals were killed.
Seventeen British people, including two from Fleetwood, were taken to hospital, one man is in a serious condition.
A spokesman from Airtours said: "The Rigg family are now at Marmaris and have been offered counselling or have been offered the chance to end their holiday and come home."
Airtours said all relatives have been contacted.
