SHAKERS' players have an extra incentive to hit top form against Wrexham on Saturday, with squad places for Bury's Worthington Cup second round clash with Bolton Wanderers still up for grabs.
But player manager Andy Preece was keen to keep their focus away from Wednesday's dream derby.
"All the squad want to play in that game, so those who go out to play for us tomorrow will have first crack at making the team," he said.
"That's great because it gives them something extra to play for but we have to make sure we keep our focus on the Wrexham game. When that's out of the way, then we can start getting excited about Bolton."
