JOE Orton's black comedy Loot is on at the Preston Playhouse, Market Street West, until Saturday (September 28) at 7.30pm.
Preston Drama Club will be performing the production which includes bank robbers, a mourning husband, his wife's corpse, a seductive nurse and a corrupt, brutal police inspector.
The play unfolds revealing a farcical game of cover-ups.

RISING jazz performer Stacey Kent will be playing in Preston to kick off the Feast of Jazz Festival on October 1 at Grasshoppers Rugby Club, Lightfoot Lane, Fulwood. Stacey, from the USA, has been described as a young Ella Fitzgerald.
See her sing at 8pm with musicians, including Dave Newton on piano and her husband Jim Tomlinson on the saxophone.
