A POLICEMAN had his radio stolen during a burglary at his Morecambe home.
Officers say the TETRA radio equipment has been disabled and will not interfere with operations, but are still keen to see it returned.
The officer's house was broken into on Monday night, with the thief taking a handbag, jewellery, holdall and a driving licence.
A police spokesman said: "Using our advanced modern equipment we have been able to disable the radio, but anyone with any information which could lead to its return is asked to contact Morecambe police on 01524 63333."
