TV's Lisa Riley will turn out on Sunday (Sept 29) at a fund-raising football match in Radcliffe. But the "You've Been Framed" presenter won't be on the pitch!
Tottington-based Lisa will do a running commentary and sign autographs at the match between Radcliffe High School's all-conquering team of 1970-75 and a side of top ex-professionals.
Stars include Frank Worthington of England, Leicester and Bolton; Andy Goram of Rangers and Scotland; Oldham manager Ian Dowie, who played for Spurs and Southampton, and hopefully Colin Bell, David Cross and Frank Carrodus, who turned out for Manchester City, among other top sides.
The match, at Radcliffe Boro's Stainton Park ground, kicks-off at 2.30pm, but the gates will open at 1pm for a match between the current school team and teachers. At half-time there will be a penalty competition with Andy Goram.
