BLACKBURN Hawks are set for another hectic weekend as they prepare for a brace of tough encounters.
Bobby Haig's men take on the Paisley Pirates in a Challenge match on Saturday and then return for an ENHL clash at the Arena against Whitley Bay the following day.
And further to the Hawks' topsy-turvy weekend which saw them lose out to Kingston and crush Bradford, Haig will be looking for back-to-back victories this time around.
"I felt we were extremely unfortunate to get beat at Kingston - we were made to pay for a few simple errors," he said. "But looking at the overall picture we played really well in both those games and if we can produce the same level of performance this weekend then I see no reason why we can't pick up a few victories."
The Hawks are without Eddie Cooper and David and Andrew Sheffield for the trip north of the border, yet Haig should have a full squad to choose from when the Tynesiders come to town.
The bus for Paisley leaves the Arena at 12.30pm on Saturday - tickets are priced at £5 with a limited number available. And Sunday's match action against Whitley Bay has a 6pm face-off at the Arena. Doors open at 5.15 pm.
