PNE took the initiative early on and it paid off when Fiona Dransfield slotted home a cross from Sarah Parker.
They continued to pressure Newsham with some fast slick moves and were resolute in defence with Karen Browne in goal pulling off a superb point blank save.
The second half saw some excellent two touch football played and Alison Taberner hit a free kick just wide.
On 55 minutes Fiona Dransfield got her second when she volleyed home from a wide angle.
Dawn Holland came close but couldn't quite connect with the cross.
A minute later Dransfield got her hat-trick, slotting the ball home after the keeper spilled the ball. Dransfield nearly had her fourth on 85 minutes, but the keeper saved well.
Laura Kane's effort from the ensuing corner was cleared on the line.
Newsham finally scored on 89 minutes but it was merely a consolation and on 90 minutes Mandy Cummings pulled the ball back for Carla Green to slot home from within the six yard box.
On Sunday PNE are away to Penrith in the WFA Cup.
