TEACHER Helen Campbell returned from a job-swap year in America with a new 'old' idea.
It meant youngsters at Salesbury Primary School were able to show their grandads and grandmas around their classrooms.
Helen Campbell said: "While I was in America I realised that Grandparents' Day was a big deal in schools, and I thought it would a great idea to try it here. It was very successful -- the children and all the grandparents really enjoyed it." Pupils read and sang and ran conducted tours. "It was a lovely afternoon," Helen added.
