THERE was an awful lot of coffee in East Lancashire as charity fundraisers got up a head of steam.
Hundreds of cuppas were served to raise cash for the Macmillan Nurse Cancer Relief Fund during the World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
The heat was on in church halls, shops, factories, schools and building society offices as volunteers brewed cuppas for thirsty visitors.
It is expected that hundreds of thousands of pounds will go in the pot for the charity which helps terminally-ill people in their own homes.
