A CRIME-BUSTING partnership between police and businesses in Lancashire celebrates its 10th birthday on Monday.
The Lancashire Partnership Against Crime will celebrate its anniversary with a presentation ceremony at Lancashire Constabulary headquarters, Preston.
The partnership comprisesis made up of 260 companies who fund crime-busting initiatives with annual membership fees and fifty founder members will attend the ceremony to receive certificates from Lancashire Chief Constable Paul Stephenson, in recognition of their loyalty.
Mr Stephenson said: "The partnership has been supportive of our efforts to tackle crime in Lancashire during the last 10 years and its funding has supported many worthwhile crime reduction initiatives that may otherwise have never got off the ground."
