THREE people were injured in a head-on smash outside the Bull and Butcher pub in Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened around noon where a Peugeot 306 and a Volkswagen Golf collided off Manchester Road.
Firefighters were called to assist paramedics in removing a trapped woman in her 50s from the Peugeot. She complained of neck and back pains.
Her passenger, an eight-year-old girl was already out of the car, being treated by paramedics when the fire crew arrived.
They were both taken to Burnley General Hospital for treatment.
A man who was in his 20s was also taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
Station Officer Neil Ashworth said the road was closed off for about half an hour as a precaution.
