FOOTBALLING greats and a TV star joined a team of ex-pupils in a charity match to raise funds for Radcliffe High School.
The selection of former pupils who played for the school team between 1970 to 1975 took on a Bury Select XI, managed by former Gigg Lane favourite Wayne Entwistle.
Tottington based actress and presenter Lisa Riley kicked off the action.
Alan Kennedy (Liverpool and England), Steve Johnson (Rochdale) and Jamie Hoyland (Rochdale) were the star names at Radcliffe Borough FC's Stainton Park ground yesterday.

Radcliffe High School, in Abden Street, Radcliffe, are hoping to raise £50,000 to support an application to become a technology college and all gate receipts were donated to the cause.

The exact total raised will be revealed in the next few days.
