A MAN was stabbed twice after disturbing raiders in his Holcombe Brook home.
The 36-year-old sustained wounds to his back and head following the incident at his property in Bolton Road West late on Sunday (Sept 29).
He was taken to hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not believed to be serious. Police said yesterday that a 25-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident and was waiting to be interviewed.
At this stage, police are trying to determine how many people were involved in the burglary.
A spokesman for Bury Police said: "It appears the man was stabbed during a burglary at his home causing two wounds."
