PEOPLE in East Bury can now get extra help and work opportunities during weekly sessions beginning this week.
A community adviser from Bolton and Bury IAG (Information Advice and Guidance) Partnership will be at Acorn House in Willow Street every Wednesday, offering advice to adults over the age of 20 who want to find out about learning and work.
The adviser can help with choosing courses, changing career, finding a job, sourcing funding for courses and a whole range of other information.
IAG Partnership co-ordinator, Jane Doyle said: "The service is designed to help adults make the right decision at the right time in relation to starting a course, changing a job or even changing a career. We are pleased to be working with the East Bury Initiative and to have the opportunity to put on sessions in the local area."
Appointments with the adviser can be booked by contacting Humera at Acorn House on (0161) 253 6348.
Bolton and Bury IAG Partnership is a group of local agencies which work together to provide adults with free information, advice and guidance on learning and work.
