BABE the abandoned piglet taken in by an Oswaldtwistle animal sanctuary has been given a meal ticket for life.
Having already made his TV debut, the precocious porker has been sponsored by The Pet Warehouse in Oswaldtwistle, who have agreed to pay for his food and vets bills.
The Only Foals and Horses Sanctuary, home to Babe Trotter has welcomed the generous sponsorship by a local company.
A sanctuary spokesman said Babe's appearance on TV had helped to raise the profile of the Oswaldtwistle rescue centre.
"Babe acted like a true star and performed like a natural for the cameras," said the spokesman.
Babe was found wandering at the side of a motorway and taken to the sanctuary, which is open to visitors between 9am and 3pm seven days a week.
