BLACKBURN'S new Yamaha Music School is offering free keyboard lessons to budding musicians who fancy testing their skills.
Introductory music lessons are being offered by teachers at the school, which is operated as a partnership by Yamaha and Music for Families at Wesley Hall, Feilden Street, on Friday and Saturday.
Manager and piano and keyboard tutor Joan Hall said: "The first free lesson is aimed at absolutely anybody aged nine to 90 who would like to play."
The school aims to show visitors just how easy it is to get started and follows Yamaha's 'Play for Keeps' course, which use the most up to date technology and utilises CD's and floppy discs to help practise at home.
Readers wishing to take advantage of the free introductory lessons can telephone Music for Families on 01254 677204 to book.
