A MAN was punched in the face by robbers as he walked along a Burnley street
The 24-year-old victim sustained minor injuries in the attack in Clifton Street near the Caldervale Guest House at 5.15pm on Friday.
He was approached by a man and punched in the face. A second man then grabbed him and put him in a head-lock while he was searched.
The robbers took a Timex watch, a wallet containing £55 cash and a silver chain.
The attackers were described as Asian, both early to mid 20s, the first 6ft, stocky, wearing a jacket or shirt zipped at the front, dark tracksuit trousers or jeans and a dark baseball cap.
The second was 5ft 8ins to 5ft 11ins, of medium build, with a thin moustache, wearing a bright orange puffer jacket, dark trousers and a dark baseball cap.
