A MENTALLY-ILL man, charged with motoring offences, has had his case adjourned. Neil Green, 20, of Hollins Road, Nelson appeared before Burnley Magistrates yesterday.
Green faces charges of failing to provide a sample and driving without insurance, licence and MOT. The case was rescheduled to obtain details of Green's driving history.
It is alleged that he deliberately drove a car into a lamp post. He was granted bail and ordered to reappear before magistrates on October 28.
