BLACKBURN businessman Leo Flood is hoping for a £30,000 windfall for deserving children with what is set to be East Lancashire's biggest charity event of the year.
The themed 007 Night at the Dunkenhalgh on Friday is already a sell-out with more than 450 guests paying £35 a ticket for the 'black tie bash'.
But Leo is hoping that more East Lancashire businesses will help to boost the appeal for Derian House and Francis House children's hospices by donating items for the raffle, auction and tombola on the night.
More than 300 prizes, ranging from a brand new Toyota Yaris car to an England shirt signed by Gary Lineker, have already come in.
But as Leo, of Leo's Carpets, points out: "The more prizes we have, the more people will spend, and the more we can raise money for this deserving cause."
Leo has brought together a group of fellow business people to raise money for charity and this year's event promises to be the biggest yet.
Anyone able to support the charity should contact Leo Flood, Tel: 01254 202292.
