COLNE & NELSON took the lead when Gilly Wainman took a catch against the throw to set the forwards up for a close-range score.
On the stroke of half time Lostock attacked the blind side to put their winner in at the corner, the successful conversion giving them a 7-5 lead.
Colne soon re-took the lead with a Jason McQuillan penalty, but further pressure did not produce any points until a quick penalty gave Chris Brown the chance to score.
Lostock soon reminded Colne that they were not out of the game when they reduced the arrears to 13-10 with a penalty.
With 10 minutes to go Colne secured victory after a try by Dave King, David Marshall converting.
