REGARDING your report (LET, September 30), just what is Blackburn coming to, when a youth can stab another on public transport ad the police do not charge him?
I thought it was illegal to carry knives, let alone stab someone.
Does this mean I can now go out and carry a carving knife for my safety, safe in the knowledge I will not be prosecuted?
A MONAGHAN (Mr), Lois Place, Blackburn.
