I USE taxis occasionally -- always the same firm if I book it myself.
But on Sunday, September 8, because my friend couldn't get my regular one, I had to come home with someone else.
From Mill Hill to St Alban's Court, Blackburn, the driver was using a mobile phone, holding it to his right ear and steering with one hand and using the gears.
I was under the impression that it was against the law to use mobile phones while driving, or is that only for the general public, not taxi drivers?
In future, I will insist on my regular taxi, or walk, or bus it.
MARGARET MCMILLAN, St Alban's Court, Blackburn.
