GRAEME Souness has promised to field his strongest possible side for tonight's second leg here in Sofia.
That means Andy Cole and Damien Duff should start despite recently returning from hamstring and thigh injuries respectively.
"Your worry with hamstrings and any other muscle injury is when you get tired the weakness starts to develop again," said Souness.
"So the idea was to give Andy a good 45 on Monday and another 70-75 minutes here.
"And Damien would be in a similar category although he got through 90 minutes at West Brom.
"So we will have one eye on the Tottenham game, depending on how this game pans out.
"If we get ourselves inton a good position then we will make substitutions."
Souness also declared himself happy with the facilities at the stadium after the players took the opportunity to train there last night.
"The training session was fine. The pitch is perfect, it's a little bit heavy underneath with all the rain they've had but there are no problems."
Although Souness openly admits Sunday's Premiership clash with Tottenham at Ewood is in the back of his mind, he is still hungry to do well in Europe, particularly as the UEFA Cup is one of the few trophies he has never won.
"European football is exciting and although I've said many times it's not the priority for us we are still involved in a prestigious competition and we want to do well in it.
"We've got some supporters who have spent a great deal of money coming over here to watch us and we want to do ourselves justice and we want to show them that we'll have a go for them.
"So I'll field our strongest team apart from the injured players."
The game kicks off at 5.30pm UK time.
