THE on-going debate about whether to allow permission for a glazed porch and full length windows at the 18th century Mount Lane cottage in Lane Top, Trawden, will continue next week.
The application for listed building consent was deferred at the last meeting of the Colne and District Committee to allow councillors to visit the cottage.
Pendle's planning officers have recommended the plans for refusal on the grounds they would fail to preserve the special architectural and historic interest and setting of the buildings.
A decision is expected to be made on Thursday, October 10.
