A STRONG first half performance laid the foundations for a 29-22 away victory for Leigh Miners 'A' over Haydock 'A'.
Tries from Patterson, Flynn, Parker and Morris plus three conversions from Thompson gave the Miners a 22-10 half time lead.
A well-taken try from Disley, converted by Thompson, and a Coleman drop goal sealed the win.
The Miners' outstanding performers were Carroll, Hindley and McNally.
All players, old and new, are invited to training at Lowton High School each Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
