IT is little wonder we pay an excessive council tax in view of the incompetence of the local authority.

Earlier this week a gang of workmen arrived and dug up a perfectly good stretch of pavement and replaced it with asphalt which, to say the least, looked ridiculously odd.

For years we have been trying to get the other end of the estates pavements done without success.

However, when it all came out they were on the wrong estate. Says a lot for the administration qualities of the powers that be doesn't it.
